And Happy Octoberfest! Our Activities Council has planned a week chock-filled with fun activities at noon to get everyone in the Fall and Halloween Spirit. Check below for theme days, Grad dances, and Pumpkin Patrol information:
OCTOBERFEST 2014
Monday: Lick or Treat! (on stage at Noon in the Caf)
Tuesday: All Black Everything! (Wear the colour black and receive a treat in the morning!)
Fear Factor (on stage at Noon in the Caf)
Wednesday: Pumpkin Pinata (Lower Skylight at Noon)
Pumpkin Judging (Front of Lecture Theatre)
Thursday: Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest (on stage at Noon in Caf)
Halloween Costume Dance-GRADS ONLY (8-11 PM, Admission-$5)
Friday: Costume Judging (on stage at Noon in Caf)

TUESDAY, OCT. 28: ISLAND STORM PRE-SEASON GAME FUNDRAISER!
The Island Storm have graciously offered to play their ONLY pre-season exhibition game at Three Oaks in support of our "In Our Own Backyard" Breakfast and Lunch program! The game against the St. John Mill Rats will take place in the TOSH gym on Tuesday, Oct. 28 beginning at 7 PM. Tickets are on sale in the Main Office at the school for $5 each or are available at the door on game night. All proceeds from the door, canteen and 50/50 draw will go directly to TOSH students in need, as well as ticket sales for a draw to win a "Storm Holiday", including: hotel accommodation, gas and meal coupons, and Storm game tickets. Tickets for the draw are $2 each or 3 for $5 and will be sold at the game Tuesday night.

A huge TOSH thank you is extended to the "Friends for a Cause" group who raised $485 for our "In Our Own Backyard" program at their recent Fun Run! Thank you to all who participated and donated that day. Your efforts will go a long way to helping our students!
PARENT COUNCIL NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Our Parent Council have booked a table for the Craft Fair and are looking for parent volunteers to help work the table for 2 hour shifts: November 8 from 9 AM-8 PM and November 9 from 10 AM-5 PM. If you can spare an hour or two to help, please contact Karen Smith at smithkaren2@hotmail.com.
The next Parent Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 17 beginning at 6:30 PM in the TOSH Library. All are welcome!
LEADERSHIP TRAINING TOSH STYLE!
Several members of the various Council Executives and the Climate Crew gathered at the school on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. to participate in student leadership training facilitated by Ms. Haire. The purpose of the training was to highlight the "WHAT, WHY, and HOW" of student leadership at Three Oaks. There was a lot of learning and laughs thanks to the awesome participation of everyone present. Check out the smiles below!

MATH HELP CENTRE READY TO BEGIN!
We are looking to match students who NEED help in math with those students willing to GIVE math help! Students interested in tutoring can contact Mrs. Tammy Craig ASAP in Room 407 to indicate their interest. Tutoring hours can be counted toward the Community Service Bursary.
